Fiesta! Foreva!

Last Thursday night we went to a Fiesta for Rob and Melissa's engagement at Juan in a Million. Dylan wore her fiesta dress and looked oh so festive. We did have a wardrobe malfunction though, because it was too hot and sticky to get her dress off of her. We had to cut it off with scissors...ha...poor thing...she was embarrassed, but everyone thought she was precious and she was good the whole time...Even with people passing her around...She loved it! She was such a party animal that she ended up with a mustache on her head by the end of the night! :)

I'm a tailgater!

Dylan went to her first tailgate this weekend! Unfortunately, we can't say that she is a good luck charm just yet because the Longhorns lost, but Daddy put on a successful tailgate and we had fun. Cody went to the game with the boys and we watched it at the McManus' house with Dylan's friends, Mr. Dylan and Kennedy. We are headed to Dallas this weekend for OU. Dylan is going to wear a different outfit this time and hopefully turn our luck around. She is excited to see Minnie!

More Maine Pics

My first trip to stay with Lolli and Pop

Cody and I headed to Maine for Leslie and Jolian's wedding and Dylan, Payton and June bug all went to stay with Lolli and Pop. I was really sad to leave her and I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to, but I knew she would have so much fun. Before that weekend I had probably spent a total of 12 hours away from her and then all of a sudden we left for four nights! When we were leaving I cried, of course, and Lolli had to tell me to just walk away or I would have never left. Here is us on the couch taking a last nap together before we would part.
We don't have the picture, but Lolli and Pop were rooting for the Red Raiders during the game and they put Dylan in a Texas Tech hat! But, I did make sure that they had her Texas outfit on her and the Longhorns won the game :)
Here are some pics from Maine. It was beautiful and Leslie did such a good job putting the weekend together!

Dallas with Minnie

We headed to Dallas a couple weeks ago for Andy and Jenilee's wedding. It was a lot of fun. Uncle Stephen watched Dylan and Minnie by himself on Friday night while we went to the rehearsal dinner and Aunt Monica had an event at Nordstrom. They were really good...or so he says! :) That was her first official time being babysat and I was nervous to leave her at first. Not because Uncle Stephen can't handle it, but because I wanted her to show him how good she was. And she did. :)
On Saturday night Mary Ann watched the girls while all four of us headed to the wedding. I felt bad because right after I put on my dress Dylan had a major blowout and Mary Ann had to give her a bath. She said she was too big for the infant bath tub...Awww...big girl.
The wedding was great and it was fun to see all of our friends. Dylan's aunt's Susan, Whitney and Angela came to visit her on Saturday and couldn't believe how much she had changed.
Her favorite thing was spending time with Minnie, who likes to pat her on the head and bless her. It's really cute.

Big Labor Day weekend!

We started off with some Friday night Mexican food with the Matza's who have one of Dylan's first friends, Halladay, who we go to the movies with on baby day and out to lunch...We are "lunching ladies."
Saturday we had a big party to watch the season opener for the Longhorns against Rice. Dylan's Austin boyfriend, Mr. Dylan came over...she struck her Hiesman pose.
Sunday, it was time to hang out with Dylan's Houston boyfriend who was in town out on Lake Travis. She and Luke both sat in their strollers out on the dock while Scott, Leigh Ann, Cody, the Haag's and I swam and jumped off the swing. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day at a beautiful house. That night we went to Keely's 2nd birthday party, but we forgot to take a picture. There were 6 of Dylan's baby friends there! Keely, Finley, Kennedy, Mr. Dylan, Brady and Reese.
Monday we just hung out at the house and ran some errands. Dylan helped me work on my curtains that I made for our room. She was a big help! :)

On Stage at THE Hole in the Wall

Dylan might be the coolest 2 and 1/2 month old ever because she has been on stage at The Hole in the Wall, thanks to her Auntie Ash. We went to see her new country band, Piper Cherokee on Saturday night and Dylan loved her first show! The band was great(check out the video), we can't wait to see them again. We also went to House Wine on Sunday for Uncle Ryan's birthday so she basically spent her whole weekend at the bars...she likes to party :)
